It is where out passions and desires come to fruition, where we battle our darkest fears, and where we can see those loved ones that have gone before us. This program will also feature English composer Jonathan Dove's "Passing of the Year," which he wrote in memory of his mother. |

Babe in Manger

Ewing, NJ The birth of Jesus is a sacred mystery that marks the beginning of God’s atonement for the sins of humankind. We reflect on this act of God’s love and celebrate with those who await the birth of the one who was sent to reconcile the world, a “Babe in a Manger.” This program includes music by Britten, Hogan, Todd, a world premiere by Michael Robert Smith, and traditional Christmas hymn singing! Preservation New Jersey is proud to host our first performance of "Babe in a Manger" in the beautiful space of the 1867 Sanctuary. Join us as we partner with Dr. Lynnel Jenkins and the Princeton Girlchoir to perform music inspired by the wondrous Christmas story. |
Inaugural Concert Series: Songs of Love and Light
